SOUTH SUNTRESO SDA WOMEN’S MINISTRY DONATES ITEMS WORTH GH 3,000 TO KSI CHILDREN’S HOME

Young Women Ministry of South Suntreso SDA Central Ghana Conference Church has donated assorted products worth GH3,000 to over hundred orphans of Kumasi Children’s Home.

Products and other food items donated were two bags of sugar, bags of rice, bags of gari, fifty sachets of mobile drinking water, bags of washing powder, sanitary pads, diapers, gallon of cooking oil among others.

The donation was made as part of activities marking this year’s anniversary celebration of the Young Women’s Ministry of the local (South Suntreso) church.

Speaking to the media after the donation, Madam Dorcas Owusu Asare who holds the position as the Assistant Leader for the group underscored the benevolent act in question as a means of touching orphans and the underprivileged in society.

According to her, it was an evangelical means of demonstrating the love of God to the orphans and draw them close to God.

Madam Dorcas Owusu however challenged churches, institutions  in the society to do similar by supporting the needy with the little they have.

Receiving the items, the director for the orphanage home Madam Mabel Amponsah expressed gratitude and challenged  them to carry on with the good work.
